THE PERFECT PLACE TO RECHARGE YOUR BATTERIES
First of all, if you are planning to come to Ireland, you need to have a waterproof coat because, although there are spectacular sunny days, there are other rainy and cloudy days with cold wind.
If you are looking for a place far away from the stress of the big cities, maybe to work remotely or just to have some days off to get some rest, Kildare County is the perfect place.
Everywhere you go is surrounded by trees, flowers, plants.... It's green everywhere!
Depending on what you would like to do, there are different options in Kildare County:
CASTLEDERMOT
If you are looking for a place where you can find quietness, Castledermot is the right place for you. It is a small village surrounded by countryside and farms. You can go for long walks and MAKE NEW FRIENDS: horses, cows, sheep, different types of birds, rabbits...

And my friends THE COWS.... They usually come to say hello!
People in Castledermot are very friendly. Children play in the street and they welcomed me very well. They liked to come to play with me every day and even they bought a cool ball for me 😃💖
Another cool thing in Castledermot is that you can go and do sport outside. There are areas where you can go to run, for a long walk, to skate or to ride your bike.
This is one of my favorite places where I go to play freebee or with other things I find 😜
Since I am his personal coach, he needs me to make him work out hard...
But, no worries!!! if after so much exercise you need to relax, you can go to the RIVER and sit still in the river bank...
Or maybe.... play in the water...This is me the first time I found out that I could play in the river 😜
MULLAGHREELAN WOOD
It is a woodland site next to Kilkea Castle, just 5 minute driving from Castledermot. It has good walking trails of moderate difficult and beautiful views. There is a big parking area and picnic area too. In the official website you can find more information and download the trail map.
MOORE ABBEY WOODS
It is a woodland area of approximately of 250 acres of extension. It is located in Monasterevin. It is known by its variety of flowers, especially bluebells and the many types of butterflies that live there. It has different walking trails of moderate difficulty where you can see different types of trees, plants and flowers. The fauna includes gray squirrels, badgers, pheasants among other types of birds.
The landscape is full of beautiful colors, especially green colors, which are son intense that you can understand why Ireland is called the Emerald Isle.If you would like to now more, tell your human to visit the website:
The Outlet Village Luxury Shopping Destination, it is an outdoor shopping center, with many stores, play area, cafes, Starbucks and restaurants. Since it is outdoor, dogs are welcome. It worth going. It is beautiful! 😍

One of the most charming places in Kildare Town is MARKET SQUARE:
On sunny days, dogs take their humans to this square to grab a cup of coffee or a drink, or for lunch/brunch. Another good place where you can take your humans for shopping is NEWBRIDGE.
Your humans can enjoy the Visitor Center https://visitnewbridgesilverware.com/, where they can go shopping and buy products of high quality and from exclusive collections, as well as have a cup of coffee or have lunch at the award winning Domo's Emporium Café & Food Hall, visit the famous Museum of Style Icons, have a guided Factory Tour, or have your personal shopping expert.
In Newbridge, you can also go shopping for yourself, since there are good pet stores with cool things for you. These are the two biggest:

You can find both stores in other towns all over the country, but these two in Newbridge are quite big!
If after shopping you and your humans need a break, you can go to COSTA. It is like the "Starbucks of Ireland". You can find different types of coffee and tea as well as pastries, cakes, etc. They have a cool patio where dogs are welcome.

Like almost every town in Ireland, Newbridge also has a beautiful RIVER crossing the town where you can take your humans for a walk. However, for some reason, the riverfront in Newbridge brought a feeling of romanticism to myself. You can see for yourself....
There is a lovely city park along the riverfront in Newbridge. It is the Liffey Linear Park https://www.newbridgetidytowns.com/liffey-linear-park/, where people go for a walk or ride, for lunch in the picnic area....
or to fish.... 
Your humans can also do some water sports and other activities in this park. Ahh.. and dogs are welcome and we can go off leash 😀😀😀

Today I took my humans to another cool pet friendly place in Kildare County.
It is THE IRISH NATIONAL STUD & GARDENS https://irishnationalstud.ie/

The National Stud & Gardens is a horse breeding facility based at Tully, Kildare County. It is surrounded by peaceful landscapes, where you can enjoy for a long long walk. It is the house of the horses who have run in the well-known horse races of Ireland, so you will be able to see them there.
Likewise, you can see the stallions for the best horses who have won some races...
And the stallions for other horses, including a separate area for the foals.
The most popular attraction inside the National Stud & Gardens, is the JAPENESE GARDENS https://irishnationalstud.ie/japanese_gardens/
It is a beautiful Japanese-style garden where you can walk with your human family, while enjoying the lovely views. In the Japanese gardens you will also see a Zen garden and a Japanese tea house, among other nice things.
