LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GEORGIA
AN EXCURSION WITH YOUR HUMAN
If you are visiting Chattanooga, you must go to Lookout Mountain. It is in the state of Georgia but just 6 miles from Chattanooga. Some of the pet friendly places you can visit are:
ROCKY CITY
It is a natural park with massive ancient rock formations, beautiful gardens with over 400 native plant species and breathtaking panoramic views (you can see 7 states). The best things to visit are the Enchanted Trail, the Woodland Path, the Fairyland Caverns and the Mother Goose Village. You can also buy in the gift shop and have lunch at the Big Rock Grill which is pet friendly too. This park is especially beautiful in fall!
RUBY FALLS
It is a series of underground waterfalls with spectacular colors, located deep inside of the lookout mountain. You can visit it with your human family, although you must stay in one of the complementary kennels that they have for dogs. Your humans can bring your bed or your blanket, as well as water or treats for you to feel comfortable during the tour.

FUDGE KITCHEN
It is located inside Rock City gardens. They serve home-made fudge and other sweet treats. They have an outdoor patio with stunning views where dogs are welcome.
STARBUCKS
Gema loves Starbucks so I take her there from time to time. This Starbucks is located just in front of the main entrance of Rocky City. It is opened daily and it has an outdoor patio with amazing views where dogs are welcome.
