KILKENNY COUNTY, IRELAND

           THE MARBLE CITY

County Kilkenny is located in the province of Leinster in the South-East of Ireland. The capital city, Kilkenny is well-known by its medieval buildings and castle. It is a very lively and charming town, with many festivals, outdoor activities, amazing scenery, cultural attractions, medieval history, shopping centers, among other things. You can explore more in these links:

Kilkenny town is situated in both banks of the River Nore. The RIVERFRONT WALK is beautiful and very long.

This is the entrance of the river walk. Along the river side, there is a lengthy trail for you and your two-legged family to walk, ride or rollerblade. It is divided in three sections to explore different areas.

The trails are long but with moderate difficulty, and you have some cool places to sit and have some rest.

There are some spots where children and adults go to fish, and where dogs can be off-leash:

Here I am about to do my frisbee test

I took my human family to KYTELER'S INN https://www.kytelersinn.com/
to try SMITHWICK'S, the most popular red ale-style beer in Ireland.

The pub has a colorful beer garden with live music, where dogs are very welcome.
